Our mission statement reads, "We are United to EXPERIENCE Jesus, SERVE others, and LIVE the Word."
To help us live this out, our core values are:
Joyful Worship - We are called to worship God in spirit and in truth, not in any particular way. Throughout the Bible, people give thanks and praise to God in all kinds of ways and so we worship in many ways, both inside and outside our church building.
Authentic Community - God knew it was not good for us to be alone and we know we need each other to thrive in life. Like the first followers of the ascended Christ, we come together to learn, support one another, break bread, and pray. We know we are present with God when we are together and God desires us to work together for God's kingdom.
Faithful Witness - Jesus continually sent his disciples to preach Good News and we, too, are sent out to baptize and make disciples. We have news that has changed our lives, and we share it with others. We share this news by the way we live, the way we treat others, and finally with our words.
Ridiculous Generosity - We have been given life in abundance and all we have is a gift from God. Therefore, we give of ourselves to God and our neighbor, including our time, talents, and possessions. Because God has given to us abundantly, we respond to the needs of others in abundance!
