The leadership of United Lutheran is with the congregation council, whose voting membership consists of the pastor(s), the officers of the congregation (president, vice president, secretary, and financial secretary) and a representative of each of the following committees: Education, Endowment, Hospitality, Property and Stewardship. Any voting member of the congregation may be nominated for election to the council or committees.

We are excited to have welcomed Pastor Jodi Myrvik as our new pastor, December 1, 2021. Pastor Jodi grew up in rural McVille, ND. She and husband, Paul, have a daughter, Sophie. They own and operate a fourth generation family farm nearby. Pastor Jodi pursued her seminary education through a merged program between Luther Seminary in St Paul, MN and Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in Berkley, CA. She is a graduate of the TEEM program (Theological Education for Emerging Ministries) and was ordained in 2011. She is also a registered nurse and utilizes those skills in a parish nurse role at United Lutheran. Pastor Jodi enjoys engaging with people of all ages and is especially fond of working with the youth. She is an encourager of participation in all aspects of being the church...the body of Christ...through worship, service, fellowship, prayer, leadership and mission. Pastor Jodi also likes to try new things that bring life, energy and adventure to one’s faith journey. In her spare time, Pastor Jodi can be found farming with her husband, gardening, enjoying nature and attending Sophie’s many activities.
