Our confirmation sessions meet most Wednesdays during the school year at the following times:
6:00pm: 7-8 grade
7:00pm: 9th grade
The primary goal of our confirmation program is to help students learn what it means to be an active member of the body of Christ, so that - affirming their baptism in the fall of their 9th grade year - they can be full members of our congregation and of the body of Christ. Some expectations in our confirmation program:
Regular Worship Attendance – Worship is essential to a growing faith life, as we connect with other believers and take time to hear God’s promises for us.
Learning Sessions – Our confirmation group meets on Wednesdays through the school year to study, learn and have fun together.
Serving – We ask that students serve both at and beyond their church, offering their gifts for the community of believers and the community as a whole. Service projects are done together as a group and individually throughout the year.
Camp – students will attend a week-long Bible camp, to grow in community and faith in new settings.
